IT Support Contract for Home Users 

1. Service Provider: The Computer Studio, located at: 

The Computer Studio, Croft Road, Crowborough, TN6 1DL 

The Computer Studio, 4 Railway Approach, East Grinsted, West Sussex, RH19 1BP 

2. Services 

The Provider agrees to provide the following IT support services to the Client: 

  • Hardware and software installation and maintenance 

  • Virus and malware removal 

  • Network setup and troubleshooting 

  • Data backup and recovery 

  • General IT support and troubleshooting 

3. Service Hours 

Support will be available during the following hours: 

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM 

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM 

  • Sunday: Closed 

  • Public Holidays: Closed 

Out-of-hours support can be arranged but may incur an additional charge 

4. Response Time 

The Provider will aim to respond to support requests within 4 hours during business hours. 

5. Fees and Payment 

The Client agrees to pay the Provider £15 per month. This fee includes: 

  • Free remote support 

  • Free labour on repairs 

  • 20% discount on on-site support 

  • Antivirus software 

Payment will be made via direct debit, which can be set up on the Provider’s website. 

6. Term 

This Contract will commence once the initial payment has been made and will continue for 12 months. Acceptance of this contract and direct debit will need to be completed again at the end of this term. 

7. Confidentiality 

The Provider agrees to keep all Client information confidential and will not disclose any information to third parties without the Client’s consent. 

8. Liability 

The Provider will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the services provided. 

9. GDPR Compliance  

The Provider agrees to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will ensure that all personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently. The Provider will implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage. 

10. Acceptance 

By clicking the box below, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this Contract. 

Service Provider: 

 The company will use it’s best endeavours to safeguard the equipment and/or programs and data but accept no responsibility for damage inadvertently caused directly by it’s representatives, nor for any indirect loss or damage, nor will they be responsible for any loss of data which may occur.  This document does not affect the statutory rights or warranties of the customer.

 

I hereby request work to be undertaken as above.  I acknowledge that any work carried out is in accordance with the Company’s scale of charges and Terms and Conditions including minimum onsite charges.  I understand that where I request the Company to undertake investigation for any fault, compatibility issue or prospective configuration changes and subsequently decide not to undertake any such identified work, a time charge will be levied for the investigation work.  For on-site work more than 5 miles from our location one-way travel time and cost may be charged.  

 

We reserve the right to dispose of any items not collected within 90 days of notification of work to be undertaken or completed.
